There are schools around the world that need our help. Working together we can make a positive impact and hopefully change lives for the better.

Last year we worked on raising money for a playground for a school in Kenya. This year, the school is being rebuilt and is saving a section of land for us to co-design a playground for the students. Come learn how to make this happen starting with the design process, estimating funds needed and communication. We also may look at schools nearby that might need a playground as well! Could we build two?

Students are teaching English and building relationships with students at the migrant school. We go on Tuesdays  after school and return in time for the 5:15 bus.

On Tuesdays we work with elementary school teachers and their students to develop both elementary student skills and to develop confidence in our own teaching skills. In addition, we will develop personalized English materials to help our migrant school friends.

Do you have a special set of skills or a keen interest in something that you like to teach to others? Our Middle School is interested in working with students to develop and lead their own exploratories.

Through this exploratory, you will work with other students to develop an exploratory that you can teach during either Quarter 3 or 4 this year. Past student-led exploratories have included RC Racing, Vertical Gardeners, and Knot Just Knitters. We want to help you add your exploratory to this list.
